    FREE IELTS Speaking and Writing Online Classes

    These 5-week review classes are for migrants and resettled community members living in New Zealand who are preparing to take their IELTS General Exam for their upcoming visa application. The instructor will share lessons to help learners feel more confident and prepared to take on their exam.

    Every Mondays and Wednesday, twice a week for 5 weekes
    6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (2 hrs per class)

    Take note: The review classes are going to focus on Speaking and Writing parts of the exam. We require our leaners to be on B2 Level to be qualified for this class.

    Free Te Tiriti o Waitangi Workshop for Migrant Jobseekers and Newcomers

    Migrant Action Trust, in partnership with the Tangata Tiriti/ Treaty People and Wesley Community Centre, will be holding a FREE Te Tiriti o Waitangi Workshop for Migrant Jobseekers and Newcomers.

    Through this workshop, we aim to provide simple and accurate information about the Treaty of Waitangi, to encourage settled migrants to refresh their knowledge about the Treaty, and to invite new migrants of this land to not only learn more about the history of Aotearoa New Zealand, but also to understand their obligation in upholding the Treaty.

    Digital Classes for Beginners

    Migrant Action Trust, in partnership with 20/20 TRUST and Wesley Community Centre, are offering digital literacy courses for our Puketāpapa community members, new migrants, and those who have refugee backgrounds🖥️📚. These will be 7-week in-person classes 🏫 for those who are beginning their journey on basic key computer skills, including being confident to use digital devices and the Internet 💻🌐, so that you may be able to boost your learning and job opportunities and learn the basics of online safety.

    Please note the following eligibility criteria:

    • Not a full-time secondary student 🚫🏫
